Off-Screen Romance: Lauren + Andy's Real Wedding at the CBS Studios Backlot

When two screenwriters in LA get married on a studio lot, you can be sure some movie magic is about to happen.

  • Real weddings

When you’re both scriptwriters for television in Los Angeles, you get certain perks – one of them being able to secure the CBS Studios Backlot for your wedding! With such a storied locale at their disposal, the couple decided to theme their wedding “I heart LA” – L for Lauren, A for Andy, and, of course for Los Angeles.

The incredibly fun and inventive wedding was photographed by the amazing Jonas Peterson and the video by SparkStory cinema.

Being imaginative script writers, L and A decided to add some very “LA” details to their big day. Along with writing a script for their ceremony, the couple had their guests walk the red carpet complete with paparazzi, and gave a funny powerpoint presentation thank you speech from the two of them at the reception.
The bride looked like a star and definitely red carpet worthy in her Justin Alexander wedding dress.
