Angel Sanchez Spring/Summer Ready to Wear 2016 New York Fashion Week Catwalk

Angel Sanchez  went back to his Latin roots when he presented his “Tropical Couture” Ready to Wear 2016 Collection at the New York Fashion Week and had us wanting to book a ticket to South America immediately. The Venezuelan-born designer studied architecture and his past collection have been very focused on minimalist silhouettes, as can be seen with his latest bridal collection; but this time, Sanchez decided to play with a vibrant palette and 50s couture shapes, as well as adding intricate details and delicious draping. The details are truly spectacular, especially the hand-cut leather flowers and Plexiglas and laser-but embellishments.

For another Latin inspired collection with a 50s vibe, check out Badgley Mischka.
