We are still reeling over the news of the. They were married at their home in LA, but saved the big celebration (four days after their civil wedding) for Depp´s private island in the Bahamas. This time they said “I do” in front of their family and closest friends.
The couple made a grand entrance, coming by seaplane. They stood under a small white tent decorated with flowers and re-read their vows and swore their love to each other before their witnesses. Heard was accompanied by several bridesmaids including her sister and Lily-Rose, Depp´s 12 year old daughter from his relationship with Vanessa Paradis. The wedding was an intimate and informal ceremony and many guests went barefoot.
Heard (28) chose for the occasion a fluid dress made of chiffon with long sleeves reportedly designed by Stella McCartney – not surprising seeing as the designer and her father are good friends with the groom. Depp (51) looked dashing in a white tuxedo blazer, black slacks, and white shoes.
After the ceremony, the wedding party enjoyed a delicious feast prepared by various private chefs and no doubt they went for a swim, too!
