Tuscany, Italy is one of our favorite destinations for weddings abroad – if you’re travelling outside of the United States, you cannot go wrong with this city, located in Europe’s most beautiful country, with a wealth of potential venues, picturesque backdrops and incredible designers. And this is where Katya and Philippe decided to host their own Destination Wedding which, as you will soon see, was one of the most original, romantic and emotional weddings that we have had the pleasure to feature. The remarkable photography is the work of Motiejus – a UK-based photographer, who is available for your wedding wherever it may be. With a wealth of experience, and a special something extra that cannot be taught, his coverage of Katya and Philippe’s dream day in Italy is a masterpiece.

Katya and Philippe’s wedding day in Tuscany was part of a three-day adventure they had, with many of their closest family and friends in attendance. Fraught with emotion, their wedding was intimate and classical, taking place in the Italian countryside – far away from the hustle and bustle of Florence. Katya wore an exquisite gown from the American designer Leanne Marshall, the incredible complexity of which was captured on camera as she spun for some relaxed shots. And her now-husband Philippe impressed with a two-piece blue-grey JCrew suit, with the pair appearing as the perfect couple in their photographs.

Their reception was a fun-filled party at a local venue, with some fantastic dancing, and a chance for their loved ones to relax together and enjoy the beauty of the location, and the starry night sky above them. A chic style was adopted for the décor at the reception, which boasted rose-gold cutlery, delicate pastel floral arrangements, and luxurious crystal-ware. However, perhaps the standout feature of the wedding was the photography. Motiejus is one of the best photographers available for your wedding – he is a deft hand at capturing emotion on camera, and creating beautiful posed shots that look incredibly natural. Consider us very impressed – and we’re sure you will be too when you discover his work below…
