We live in a world of constant technological change. Increasingly, new technologies are involved in our day to day life producing changing consumer habits which have introduced new digital trends in the bridal sector. We are already in an era where most aspects of organizing a wedding integrate the use of new technologies. An interesting and current topic on which we based one of the latest editions of our exclusive event for industry professionals, Zankyou Wedding Club, this time held in a unique enclave; the magnificent Parador de Cuenca.
The best Spanish professionals from the nuptial sector of Madrid, Valencia, Toledo and Albacete, travelled to this special breakfast event focused on the new digital trends. The event was structured around an exclusive visit to the facilities of the Parador where the professionals could explore its potential for weddings and events, an exquisite breakfast in one of the rooms served by the Parador catering team and a series of talks with professionals specialized in wedding digitization.
Guided tour through the historic convent
We started the morning with the radiant sun in Cuenca. Juan, director of Parador Cuenca, personally received all our guests to begin a guided tour of the facilities. It was built on the old convent of San Pablo, a true reflection of the Gothic art of the 16th century. The Parador is specially designed to create unique weddings, both outdoors with magnificent views, and inside in its halls that surround an interior courtyard. It also has the Cathedral and four beautiful churches around for religious weddings.
To give life to these nuptial events Patricia from Martina Handmade and Paula from Viveros La Mezquita explained to us the potential of these spaces for weddings. Putting extreme emphasis on detail in each wedding, taking care of all the stationery and floral decoration for the event.

We visited the suites that the Parador has for the newlyweds and we finished our tour at a corner of the venue offering special drinks and cheese tasting to start the breakfast and the workshops.
Personalized fragrances created online!
To begin, guests were introduced to the world of online fragrances. “How can you create a fragrance online?” you ask. This is what Yoursence explained to us, a company specializing in personalized perfumes. They take care of the entire creative process, creating unique fragrances designed especially for each person. Albert, the brand manager, explained how they begin by identifying the type of fragrance desired: male, female, unisex, time of day to be worn and wedding style; all these factors then used to create a unique essence.
In his own words, we are 35% of how we smell, because a very important part of our senses comes from smell. No two fragrances are the same and the product is a special and unique detail to give to the couple and guests to mark the special occasion.
The glass bottles are customized and can be designed from the cap to the label, choosing the message you want to add. The workshop was very dynamic; our guests had the opportunity to identify fragrances through smell through a simple exercise and everyone took a sample home.
A digital take on wedding photos
Next, the team from Magic Mirror Madrid who are specialists in capturing the best moments from a different perspective, thanks to their digital approach to photocalls for weddings. They operate and offer a special photobooth composed of a mirror with an interactive touch screen. The bride and groom can choose how they want their photos: In color or black and white and which printing format. A great digital service to capture snapshots of the event whilst creating memories representing the fun essence of a wedding.
These photographs are printed in only 15 seconds in high quality and on professional photo paper. The bride and groom choose completely from the design of the photocall to the printing of the photographs, being able to add their names and the date of the wedding, among other things. A unique and special memory in digital format to keep for life. The team brought some examples of props that the professionals had no hesitation in trying out.
They have a wide variety of accessories to choose from for the use of brides and guests, including original, funny and exclusive wigs; in addition, they have hats, glasses and much more. Another great way to surprise guests, add an element of fun to the wedding event and allow everyone a unique experience with unforgettable photos.
The frames, the home screen, the stamps … everything can be created to suit the bride and groom. The camera and digital animations allow you to write a message or add an emoticon before printing the photo, offering a pleasant and fun experience. The digital photocall allows the bride and groom to take an interactive and special memory. Guests can paste the snapshots into a personalized album made of linen and with the date and name of the couple.
Digital invitations turned into art
To finish, a look at digital invites. Now although an invitation may be sent via the internet, it doesn’t mean it has to lack the artistic flair which hand-made invites are loved for. María is the founder and creator of Details Likeyou and is the soul of the brand specialized in creating designs and digital invitations for weddings via their 100% online shop. The personal touch, professionalism and experience are the principal values of this company, creating all kinds of details including invitations, minutes, images for social media and thank you cards. In their own words, the couple seeks personalization in every detail.
She explained to our attendees their way of working. She always takes time to meet with the couple to listen to their ideas and their needs; later brainstorming ideas for a unique creative process to then start producing. The bride and groom can find everything from the most basic invitations to the most personalized and themed ones. A specialist in digital formats who creates true works of art.
After the workshops, to the delight of our guests, Parador offered as a farewell a special tasting of champagne and oysters. As a finishing touch to the meeting, we took a group photo with some of the breakfast attendees.
A special thanks to Velas Studio, the team of professionals specialized in videography and photography for knowing how to capture the best of the day. And further thanks to the Parador de Cuenca for making the event possible, in addition to all our collaborators and guests of the digital Wedding Club.
