1. Legal Requirements
Being only a 1 hour and 20 minute flight from Miami, Florida, Jamaica really is easy a quick and easy flight. Unlike many countries, you won’t need a blood test before marrying in Jamaica, however, you will need to plan ahead. Make sure you have all the documents necessary to avoid any obstacles on your special day in paradise.
You can be married after just 24 hours once you have arrived in the country, as long as you have applied for a marriage license prior to your travel. Your application should be submitted to the Ministry of Justice.
