The fair was such a success that Micaela Oliveira, a famous Portuguese fashion designer, came to Izmir and attracted great deal of attention to the gala fashion show. Sharing her thoughts on the show, she said: “It was incredibly exciting to display my designs to fashion lovers in this first professional fashion show of my life. It has been a great pride and joy to be a part of the performance fashion show. It was my dream and it came true. The comments after the fashion show are really positive and this will give me inspiration and strength in my future works. I want to say thanks to everyone who supported me during the fashion show on which I worked for 6 – 7 months. Performing a fashion show was the greatest profit I gained from winning the Wedding Dress Design Contest. I gained experiences money cannot buy and I got the chance to get to know the sector better”.
