One of the essential points is to integrate the stripes into the bridal bouquet. Once you’ve chosen the flowers that will complement your look, then you can add a striped ribbon to the arrangement. The colors can be in keeping with the same tone or completely contrasting for a dazzling effect. We also love the classic combination of white and navy blue or black. The tones of these neutral colors with the bright flowers in the bouquet will look spectacular!

For the reception, stripes can be added in the form of table runners. Between natural wooden textures, the color of your centerpieces and the natural light, the striped detail will really stand out. You can also add vintage birdcages or lamps to take away that slight cliche that stripes are only for a nautical theme . However, if your whole idea is to create a maritime feel, the inclusion of star fish and shells on a striped tablecloth will look fantastic.

A religious ceremony can also be the perfect scene in which to integrate striped prints. For example, you could tie striped ribbons to the end of the pews or chairs, accompanying them with glass jars filled with colorful flowers or candles. Vases and centerpieces can also have striped ribbons, which can also be tied around curtains or included in the print of your menus and escort cards. You can create interesting mixes of colors; pastel pink, nude and white are just perfect to combine with this elegant pattern.

Finally, in the bridal look, or the groom’s attire you can also easily add in striped touches. Striped shoes with a nautical feel for your bridesmaids and for the groom, a striped tie instantly adds another dimension to his whole look. The main aim being that the tones with the added stripes that you choose should be in keeping with the day’s overall look. Without doubt, if you manage to find strategic details and elements in which to show off your striped preferences, your wedding will make an amazing aesthetic statement!
