A Destination Wedding on the continent is always something that gets us excited here at Zankyou, but we particularly enjoy those from France – the country that practically invented romance, from its charming literature and artwork, to its classical architecture and fabulous countryside views. Truly, there could be no place more fitting for the kind of elegant and sophisticated ceremony that Rebecca and Tim enjoyed at the picturesque Château de la Cazine in Limousin, a region in the south of France that has remained relatively untouched by tourism. We have to say – doesn’t the venue look like it was plucked directly out of a fairytale? There is a certain magic to the venue, which photographer Krystal at Miss Paris Photo was able to perfectly capture on camera.
Rebecca and Tim’s luxurious day in Limousin began with their individual preparations – Rebecca was surrounded by a veritable swarm of bridesmaids, and whilst they had to time to pose for some beautiful photographs, they also made sure that she looked a million dollars. Her gorgeous button-up fit-and-flare lace gown perfectly matched the elegant, vintage vibe emanating from the combination of the homemade décor and the venue; Tim looked similarly, and suitably, dashing in his three-piece blue-gray suit, with peach-tone accessories. Their outdoor ceremony was held under a cloudless blue sky, and their reception afterwards was a hubbub of excitement and enjoyment – and, we have to say, the food looked incredible!
We’d like to take the opportunity to thank Krystal at Miss Paris Photo for generously allowing us to feature Rebecca and Tim’s lovely wedding day. Not only is this couple’s wedding day full of inspiration for your own Destination Wedding – or your vintage, classic wedding day at home in the US – but showcases the work one of the best photographers on the continent, who you can get into contact with directly! Her attention to detail, and ability to capture the raw emotion of a day as special as this, is unparalleled – so scroll on, and discover more…
