A vivid love
For her big day, Maria opted for a charming mermaid-cut wedding dress. The lace design was accompanied by a sweetheart neckline, and its amazing silhouette made her look perfect from head to toe! Her loose hairstyle was wonderfully natural and incorporated a tulle bridal veil. By the time the reception arrived, she would exchange it for a very unique hair ornament. The bridal bouquet was a serious style statement: a round arrangement composed of roses in pastel tones, an ultra-romantic accessory that harmonized perfectly with her whole look.
Thiago on the other hand broke classic wedding conventions by wearing a royal-blue suit, the perfect choice for a beach wedding. His purple tie was in sharp contrast with the look, but matched with his accessories and made a great combination!
Maria and Thiago, by this point, had in fact already begun their great love story. Of Mexican and Brazilian descent, respectively, both had opted for a civil ceremony and lived together in Brazil, where they has started their life of great love and adventure. Although their life together had thus technically already begun, they had no doubt that they should celebrate their unique love with a ceremony that would truly amaze their closest friends and family. For this, Celeste Avilés, director at Wedding in Riviera Maya, recommended that they choose the private beachfront of Akumal, an ideal location for all guests from different parts of the world to gather and witness a love that defied borders completely!

Maria walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, to enjoy a very traditional ceremony with the love of her life. With very simple decoration and under a most romantic palm roof, both said, “I do” and declared their undying love for each other.
“The decoration was simple and in keeping with the colours that the bride and groom wished for. The rest of the ambiance was created by the mere fact that they were right before the sea, with clusters of rocks that made the whole setting more romantic and exotic” says Celeste Avilés. For the reception, music played a fundamental part in generating the wonderful atmosphere; the carnival rhythms of Brazil could not go by unnoticed, as well as the Mexican flavors that gave great energy to every second of the impressive feast. The party went on until 3am, although not a single guest wanted to leave such an amazing wedding, full of good energy and such enthusiasm.
