Mike, a brokerage operations manager with Northern Trust, and Erin, a trial attorney in Chicago at the Law Office of Martin L. Glink both went to the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, however they didn’t meet there. They met through a mutual friend at a country bar/venue in Chicago where Mike asked Erin to do-si-do and that was the beginning.
A few years later Michael proposed that the couple were married at St. Vincent DePaul in Lincoln Park where Erin’s great grandparents were married in 1909. “It was quite amazing to walk down the same aisle and see my ancestors’ signatures in the wedding book. I loved that our Deacon Vaeth mentioned this special historical tie to the past at the ceremony. This made our day a very special event,” said the bride.
The bride wore an Enzoani strapless, beaded fitted dress.
