Oh fate…it may even take a few turns, but if it is written in the stars then this is how it will happen! This is exactly how it was with Mariana and Renato.
They studied in the same school, but since it was so big they never crossed paths. Then they went to the same college, but on different courses, and again, nothing. They left before graduating. Some time later they went back, but each one in a different field of study. At a farewell party for one of Mariana´s friends, who was leaving Brazil, Renato and Mariana met and never let each other go.
The first proposal
They dated for 10 years, lived through many stories and adventures together until Renato asked Mariana to marry him. And it was during a trip through Argentina that the proposal happened. “It totally took me by surprise and it was very exciting. Renato was so handsome, and shaking like crazy, as if I were a stranger and as if there was a possibility of my answer being no. Was I really going to miss the chance to marry the guy of my dreams?” says Mariana.
What they both wanted was to live together, without fanfare. But as time passed, life led them to a traditional marriage. Their house was ready, and the desire to celebrate and celebrate love spoke louder.
The Second Proposal
Two years after the first proposal, the second happened. It was Christmas of 2014 during the family Secret Santa. Once again fate conspired in favor, Mariana was allocated Renato and he was allocated her. The gift he gave her ?? A wedding ring with the official proposal, will you marry me again? And she of course said Yes! “But this time, we gotta get married, huh?! And so it was, and it was beautiful,” answered Mariana.
The Preparations
Together, the couple decided every detail for their big day. They wanted a simple wedding, something that really represented them as a couple and something that sat comfortably within the budget that they had. They then opted to hold a mini wedding. The place chosen was Tiella Events, because they were able to perform the ceremony and the party there. On top of that, Tiella offers sound, lighting, a caipirinha bar and of course an incredible buffet. Mariana chose her dress from La Novia and wore Juliana Bicudo shoes. The hair accessory and the bouquet were made by Vanessa Oz and Atelier de Beauté took care of the bride’s hair and makeup. The rings came from H. Stern.

And Jeff e Gal took care of recording every moment with beautiful photos and videos. Of course, to orchestrate everything and ensure that everything went according to plan, Mariana and Renato counted on coordinator Lídia Vaz.
Mariana left a message for every bride/groom-to-be reading this: “I have a tip for brides to read this: IT WILL BE ALRIGHT! Forget about checking every detail. Nobody notices this! Remember to hug loved ones, take lots of beautiful photos and enjoy the party. That is a successful wedding.”
