We would like to introduce you to one of our favorite Italian photographers: Lucrezia Senserini. Situated in Italy, her photographs are just as beautiful as her surroundings. She will listen to all your wishes and capture your wedding day and all of the joy and emotions that come with it. The moments of emotion, the enthusiasm of smiles and hugs, the romantic beauty of the floral arrangements, the authenticity of enchanting landscapes: all memories will be treasured with Lucrezia as your wedding photographer.
How it all began…
She started working in wedding photography about eight years ago, in 2012 as an assistant photographer. In 2015 she traded her place as assistant photographer in and started photographing her own weddings. However, her passion for photography has been there for as long as she can remember. Today she is blessed with photographing wedding couples from all over the world and she has done this in Positano, Umbria and, Sal Galgano, and Tuscany.
Even though her style is photo-journalism, she does not like to stick to one particular style. Lucrezia listens to your wishes and will find the perfect style for you based on these desires. Rather than a technique, the thing that differentiates Lucrezia is her ability to seize the right moment, whether these are spontaneous or not. She’ll make a full-on reportage combined with a touch of feminine and attention to the light. The best terms to describe her photographs are intimate, delicate, spontaneous and emotional.
Goals and inspiration
When working, it is Lucrezia her goal to create images that know how to grasp the essence. The beauty that is everywhere and at all times, to capture the unspoken and the small gestures. She feels fulfilled when the spouses are moved when they see the photos. She finds inspiration in everything. From the place, the things that are happening and what she has in mind.

Even though Lucrezia is a star in what she does, there are always some challenges in the job of a photographer. We asked her what she considers to be the hardest challenge and what she does to overcome these. The hardest factor for her must be the fact that everything happens only once and nothing can be repeated. You have one shot, one kill and this can be pretty difficult. She thinks the biggest challenge when doing what she does is to be able to tell the wedding in the best possible way, to be discrete, not to intervene in what happens, and at the same time bring out the best in every situation.
The connection with her couples
As we mentioned before, Lucrezia listens to all your wedding wishes. She pays a lot of attention to your desires and spends time on trying to get to know you too, to serve you better. She loves to get to know you by a meeting in either real life, or Skype/video when this is not possible. In this meeting, she loves to hear all about your history as a couple and your view on the wedding.
The ideal wedding
Because we were curious, we also asked Lucrezia what her ideal wedding would be like. To her, the ideal wedding ceremony would be an intimate, symbolic, outdoor ceremony with many flowers and candles. Sounds romantic, doesn’t it!?
Some last-minute advice for future lovebirds
According to Lucrezia, the photographer of your wedding should be picked with your gut feeling. Each photographer tells a wedding in a different way, there are a lot of styles and each couple should choose the photographer based on the style that most closely matches their taste. To make sure you have the best pictures on your wedding day, she recommends to take advice from the photographer on your wedding. He is the professional, with you all day and will know how to make you live the dream wedding. Another suggestion is to take advice from him on the time-line. The photographer knows the best light for each moment on the place of preparation, on lighting in some important moments, such as the ceremony and the cutting of the cake.
