Having recently moved their photography business from the United States to Valencia, Spain, the team at U Imagine Photo Studio have been busy capturing some of the most beautiful weddings we at Zankyou have seen. A popular destination for couples choosing to elope, or to marry abroad with their family and friends, Spain is a stunning country, full of quaint bridal traditions and features, and José and Rita’s wedding in Valencia was no different. In what turned out to be a wonderful day for a wonderful couple, their wedding at La Ferradura – a lovely venue along the Valencian coastline – was full of stylish details and romantic flourishes.
Rita wore a dress from Spain’s foremost bridal designer, the indomitable Rosá Clara, and looked utterly chic in a fit-and-flare gown with a tulle skirt and lace embroidered bodice. Her accessories were subtle, adding a touch of glamour to the overall look, and with her hair tied back with a vintage pearl pin, Rita looked every inch the bride. José was also suitably dressed for the occasion, with a textured deep-navy suit and matching bowtie.
Further contributing to their vintage theme, Rita travelled to the wedding venue in beautiful powder blue antique car, where she was awaited by her soon-to-be husband. Their ceremony was intensely emotional, but also a very happy affair, with the bride and groom unable to contain their joy as they exited together. In their beachside photoshoot, the pair posed together effortlessly, their love palpable in the images below.
An old-school theme perpetrated the couple’s wedding reception. Cutting their wedding cake with a sword was just one example of this, alongside their utilization of a projector to show old photos of the two of them for their guests. There was a huge sense of intimacy present, as the two celebrated their relationship, and we wish them both all the very best in their future together.
