We know you’re going to love this story of how Frida and Alberto met. Read on to get to know the full story of how this couple met whilst on a flight.
Their Love Story
Ten years ago, Frida and Alberto, got up for work and boarded the same flight as an air hostess and pilot, respectively. It was the first time that they had met each other, and their friendship began to blossom from the word go, and eventually they decided to try things out as a couple
As co-workers and as lovers, Frida and Alberto had the chance to fly all over the world to some of the most beautiful destinations. It was on one of these trips that their love story really began. On this particular trip Frida and Alberto flew to Istanbul, Cappadocia and some of the Greek Islands, and were lucky enough to get the chance to stay in Santorini one evening, where Alberto decided to get down on one knee and propose to Frida!
Alberto and Frida chose 28th May as their date for the big day. With their busy schedules, the preparations started soon after they had picked their date with both them being fully involved in the decision-making process. Frida’s wonderfully detailed dress was by Jessica Brutich as were her gorgeous shoes. Frida chose to have Christian Matta do her makeup, and opted for some earthy tones to illuminate her beautiful and natural bridal look. Frida told us that she didn’t want to wear a lot of jewellery, but her earrings from Roxana Pardo definitely stand out!
Frida recalls how one of the most emotional and wonderful moments of their wedding was when her father walked her down the aisle with all her closest friends and family there. Of course she says the best thing was walking down the aisle with Alberto smiling back at her, knowing they would be together for the rest of their lives!
Frida and Alberto’s wedding reception took place at Jardín Vivero Café in Cieneguilla, which provided the perfect unique and romantic setting for the celebrations. The couple chose this location as they had a special connection with it, having visited it whilst getting to know each other. The venue also perfectly matched the vintage chic theme that they had picked out for their wedding.
The food and the decorations were all organized by El Catering de Andrea. After all the eating and drinking had been done, another one of the most emotive moments of the day was the couple’s first dance. Frida and Alberto both told us that they were so nervous to dance their first piece together, but they had put in hours of practice and were very keen to show off the results of their hard work to all their guests!
Of course, no wedding would be complete without a photographer to document all the best moments of your special day. Frida and Alberto chose Uriel Santisteban as their photographer who has a wealth of experience in photographing weddings.
From everyone here at Zankyou, we would like to congratulate Frida and Alberto on their marriage and we wish them all the best for many years to come!
