It’s true that some weddings can be a little generic and follow the strict rules of wedding etiquette, but it’s certainly not the case here! We want to share with you a different type of celebration, with lots of personal touches. Don’t miss it!
Lisa & Ed wanted their wedding to really represent them, and to really be true to their personalities, which is why they created this wonderful and original event. Let’s start with the bride’s look. As the wedding was taking place in an outdoor garden, the bride opted for a strapless, princess cut dress from Pronovias with lots of little flowers embroidered on the skirt that really added an air of romance to her style. Her accessories were also stunning, a waist length veil and a brooch with precious stones on the side finished off her hair beautifully. Her bouquet was made up of mainly pink flowers, complemented by other ivory blooms, which matched the boutonniere of the groom, who looked so elegant in his dark grey suit.
The bridesmaids carried the base color of the wedding with their dresses and necklines that resembled flower petals. The groomsmen opted for dark suits and grey ties, looking very similar to the groom. The most elegant ones that really caught our eye were the little flower girl and ring bearer… a very cute couple!
The garden ceremony really shone with its extensive flora and fauna on the walls which gave a really charming look to their altar. Within the pink floral theme we could also see many ivory, mint and gold tones within the decor. Little personal touches were scattered everywhere, for example the timetable on chalkboards, with the names of the couple and their bridal party. Vintage furniture was also used on the altar, adorned with flowers in keeping with the wedding tones.
The reception setting continued the romantic theme with a palette of golden and rose hues. The top table “dressed” for the tone, with many floral arrangements, it was an amazing focal point. Among other details that really stood out, we can mention the colorful pink, ivory and beige decorations on the lamps along the guest tables, which matched the design of the table runners with chevron print in gold and white just perfectly.
Their stationery, was also in keeping with their fabulous style and displayed pastel tones in pink, mint and gold, similar to the menu and escort cards.
Flowers were present in each detail, not just natural ones, giant paper flowers framed the wedding cake and dessert table. The flowers really added another colorful dimension to the white cake with a petal texture.
