Color me Bright: Shereen + Saad's Pakistani Wedding in New York

This 3-day Pakistani real wedding is an absolute whirlwind of love, laughter, and colorful festivities. It’s a wedding we wish we were invited to! Over a weekend in Syracuse, New York, Shereen and Saad celebrated with their friends and family a major event. The whole thing was photographed by the talented Paul D. Van Hoy II of Fotoimpressions.

It all stared with the Mayoon Event at the bride’s home on Thursday. The tennis court was converted into a beautiful marquee and guests were transported back to Pakistan. The guests were treated with traditional Bollywood songs from by singer Tina Kundalia.

Then came the Mehendi Event on Friday evening, held at the Oncenter in downtown Syracuse. Ready to party, friends and family prepared over seven performances to surprise the couple. The best one being a very romantic and emotional serenade from the groom to his lovely bride-to-be. Also, we love how the bride has braided fragrant jasmine into her hair – decorative and smells wonderful and fresh all night long!
