Clarianne and Brian were married barefoot on a white sandy beach in Playa Mujeres, Cancun, against a back drop of crystal clear waters. Their pictures, taken by Gideon Photography, are testament to how beautiful and spectacular this destination wedding in Mexico really was, so we hope you enjoy them!
Finest Playa Mujeres was the perfect resort location for Clarianne and Brian’s wedding, which made their travel from Canada to Mexico all the more worth it. Wedding guests were met on arrival with a welcome bag of essentials such as sunscreen, and after the ceremony they were able to enjoy the special moment of waving sparklers to the couple’s first dance, and of course the delicious food.
The reception was held at the Grand Palapa, and Archive Events did a fantastic job with the wedding set up, incorporating the rustic-chic elements of the wooden gazebo of the reception into the table décor. This was combined with twinkling fairy lights and blooming fresh flowers, courtesy of Vanessa James Floral Design. Many of the personalized elements of the day such as the fans were made by Clarianne, herself a designer.
The couple went for a pastel tonal palette, with Clarianne’s bridesmaids looking picture perfect in nudes and pinks, next to a gorgeous bride in white. The next day, the couple did a trash the dress photography session with Gideon, and you can tell instantly just how relaxed and happy the newlyweds were.
A beach wedding in Cancun should definitely be considered by any couple who want an unforgettable wedding day with a smaller crowd. Getting married abroad in a location such as this just seems so relaxing and idyllic!
We wish Clarianne and Brian eternal happiness as they embark on the next chapter of their love story as newlyweds!
