The New York Fashion Week ended with a resounding success. This great global fashion event always generates excitement and it´s understandable – the event always brings numerous prestigious international firms to the city where designers show their best creations for the upcoming season, and from what we saw the new collections for autumn-winter 2015-2016 have exceeded all expectations.

We were excited to see the debut of Peter Copping as creative director of Oscar de la Renta after the death of the late, great designer. Elegant and feminine, Copping stayed true to the brand. Another designer who never disappoints at fashion week is Carolina Herrera who presented a collection of beautiful prom dresses with a touch of fantasy. Among others, it is also worth mentioning, the collection of Monique Lhuillier whose very sensual designs stood out in autumnal and  dramatic colors, and Zimmermann´s fine flowing silk dresses.

Victoria Beckham was also present with her new collection, which showcased asymmetrical cuts and minimalist color schemes with white and black as the protagonists. By contrast, Badgley Mischka and Jenny Packham revealed a brightness and sophisticated collection as models strutted down the catwalk in long dresses and plunging necklines.

Do not miss this summary we´ve prepared with the best designs to inspire your outfit for the next wedding you have in autumn-winter.
