If there is a night in which film shines with its own light, it’s the night of the Oscars. Yesterday the 89th annual edition of the most desired awards in the film industry took place in Hollywood, California. The prestigious golden figurines were given throughout the night in a gala full of Hollywood’s most elite. There were emotional moments and anecdotes that have since then gone viral around the world, and moments that we will remember for a lifetime. While many of us look forward to seeing who are lucky enough to receive these elite awards, one of the main events of this iconic night is the red carpet. Celebrities arrive to the event in the most luxurious designs. Some take fashion risks, some keep it classic, and others unfortunately end up on the Fashion Police. Nonetheless, we glue our eyes to our television screens looking to draw inspiration from these show stopping looks.

We have selected more than 20 different designs in shapes, details and cuts, and present them to you in this gallery. White was the color to wear this award season, and was joined by other colors such as, black and red. Undoubtedly, we must mention iconic designs worn such as, Best Actress winner for La La Land, Emma Stone, dressed in Givenchy Haute Couture. A gorgeous strapless design with fringed skirt in a champagne color. Other fashion houses such as Armani Privé or Dior Haute Couture were chosen by the most wanted actresses. The original Stella McCartney design worn by Karlie Kloss deserves a notable mention. A beautiful style with a cape that can inspire you if you decide to ditch the traditional bridal veil and wear a wedding dress with a cape instead.

Fashion, glamour, new trends and colors, all things we look forward to seeing on the red carpet. Last night the female celebrities did not disappoint with the luxurious gowns they graced our televisions with. While many of us may never have the chance to experience the red carpet, we do have a white aisle that in our opinion, is even better! So, draw some inspiration form this glamorous evening, and discover the best of the red carpet at the 2017 Oscars.
