ZIWANAME IT, Weddings & Events was born from a genuine passion for organizing weddings and other celebrations of love and life in Portugal.
We organize bespoke events, developed based on a very close collaboration with the bride and groom, in order to ensure that the big day is exactly what they want and a reflection of their personalities.
Our focus is on the most intimate or small weddings, up to a maximum of 90 guests, held in unique and representative places of Portuguese culture.
Our approach is flexible and tailored to the needs of our bride and groom. They can be very busy people professionally and/or socially and looking for a solution that will save them time, or they want to have the collaboration of someone experienced in this area and in the destination, which makes the whole process simpler, faster and more efficient. Whatever your priority, we are available to help you.
Thus, we have two distinct types of services:
- Planning from A to Z - suitable service for couples looking for help from the beginning to the end of the process
- Wedding day coordination - designed for the bride and groom who prefer to take care of everything and hand the execution of their plan to a professional, so that they can enjoy their day and their guests 100%.
We bet and value a highly personalized service, so that it is a smooth and smooth process for the bride and groom, so we have a very limited number of events per year.
Everyone needs a RITA in their life! 🇧🇷 When we decided to get married and live outside Portugal the first certainty we had was that we would have to have a weeding planner . That's when the NAME IT and Rita came into our lives. Rita was tireless from the first contact until after our wedding. Helped us with everything and more than a weeding planner , became the icing on the cake!! Our wedding was better than we dreamed and we are sure a lot thanks to Rita. I've already told all my friends that when they decide to get married, they have no alternative, Rita will have to be part of the hihi organization . My wife and I hired Rita from NAME IT for the planning of our wedding in May 2022 and were incredibly impressed by her. She was always kind and friendly, remained calm even under the most conditions, and she could be trusted to make the right decisions during the weekend of our wedding when we were stressful busy celebrating. In the preparation phase for the wedding she was always quick to respond and very professional, always finding good solutions for anything that came up. I live in Canada, but I always dreamed of getting married in Portugal. Due to the distance, I decided to hire a Wedding Planner to help me organize the wedding details in my absence. This is where Rita from Name It Events comes in. When I hired Rita in early March 2020, I thought our journey to the wedding (scheduled for June 2021) would be pretty typical: decisions about the color of flowers, and what time to start the ceremony, and about photographers. and DJ's, etc. But of course the pandemic had other ideas.
More than a Wedding Planner, Rita has been a giant support pillar, a cheerleader, and sometimes a therapist during this year and a half! I had to postpone my wedding not once, but twice. It went from June 2021 and October 2021, to August 2023. Rita helped me deal with all the stressful rearrangements of all these changes. She is a unique Wedding Planner. Your dedication, organization, conceptions, affection and patience (at the level of a saint, without a doubt!) made me feel hopeful and excited during this very difficult process. To tell the truth… if it weren't for Rita, I would have given up on making this dream of mine come true. But thanks to her, I can say that I can't wait to get married in Portugal in August 2023! I have so much confidence that my big day will be wonderful with Rita's presence, that I couldn't wait until the wedding was completed to leave this comment. Portuguese or foreign brides cannot be in better hands than Rita's.
