Isabel d'Orey Juzarte Rolo, Zankyou fan

At 89 years young, Isabel d’Orey Juzarte Rolo is the most enthusiastic user of Zankyou’s online wedding services. With 14 siblings, 90 nieces and nephews, seven children, 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, she has attended countless weddings. You could say that she is a true connoisseur of the subject.

Ms. d’Orey Juzarte married in 1945 at her parents’ home in Sassoeiros, Portugal and spent her honeymoon in beautiful Sintra. At that time, it wasn’t customary to create a wedding gift registry. Instead, guests brought gifts to the bride and groom’s home that were later opened in front of everyone, to be enjoyed by all.

Since then, much has changed in the world of weddings, including the concept of gift-giving. Ms. d’Orey Juzarte tells us that has enjoyed using Zankyou to give wedding gifts to two of her grandchildren: Alfonso, who got married in May 2010, and Rita who wed in July 2010.

Zankyou: How would you describe your experience using Zankyou?

Ms. d’Orey Juzarte: Great! Since I’m not aware of current trends and to have some difficulty getting around to shop, Zankyou has allowed me to get gifts for my grandchildren that are exactly what they wanted, without me having to leave home.
