They thought, “What better way to discover these amazing places than to go there and find out all about the cultures and traditions of each location and how each place celebrates the ceremony of marriage?” The idea grew and suddenly they were discussing actually having a wedding ceremony in each place so they could personally experience the traditions and culture of first hand!

Now 6 months and 12 weddings later the couple is having the time of their life traveling and tying the knot in a myriad of traditional, cultural and unique wedding ceremonies along the way.

While using their Zankyou wedding registry to connect with couples globally and to receive gift contributions from their friends and family, they came up with yet another great idea – use their wedding registry for a good cause. Thanks to that flexibility, Lisa and Alex decided to use their Zankyou registry to raise funds for The United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF), helping millions of children all around the world.
