Alex & Lisa of 2people1life Organize 30 Weddings Around the World

Lisa & Alex of 2people1life English Village Wedding

Lisa Gant and Alex Pelling are a couple from England getting married across the globe – but not just once. Their plan is to have 30 weddings in different countries all over the world! With so many weddings, they needed a wedding registry they could use while traveling and that’s why they chose Zankyou – it’s the only worldwide wedding registry that allows you to register for anything you want.

Lisa and Alex’s story is really quite amazing. Originally, there were just two people in love who thought about getting married “someday.” However, they also craved travel and adventure and wanted to have a very unique wedding.

So they researched unique wedding locations, wild weddings, destination weddings and they read wedding blogs, travel blogs and love stories but they just couldn’t quite find what they wanted. In order to gain first-hand experience in the matter and to help other couples who wanted to have a unique destination wedding, they decided to travel the world together in search of the most unique places to get married.

They thought, “What better way to discover these amazing places than to go there and find out all about the cultures and traditions of each location and how each place celebrates the ceremony of marriage?” The idea grew and suddenly they were discussing actually having a wedding ceremony in each place so they could personally experience the traditions and culture of first hand!

Now 6 months and 12 weddings later the couple is having the time of their life traveling and tying the knot in a myriad of traditional, cultural and unique wedding ceremonies along the way.

While using their Zankyou wedding registry to connect with couples globally and to receive gift contributions from their friends and family, they came up with yet another great idea – use their wedding registry for a good cause. With the freedom of the Zankyou registry, couples can register for any wedding gift they want including charitable contributions. Thanks to that flexibility, Lisa and Alex decided to use their Zankyou registry to raise funds for The United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF), helping millions of children all around the world.

UNICEF is a global organization dedicated to child development and protection of children’s rights. As a Zankyou partner, couples can use their Zankyou registry to donate directly to UNICEF.

Stay with us as we continue to follow Lisa and Alex throughout the rest of their amazing wedding adventure. You can also visit their blog 2people1life to see their whole love story from the beginning and to get the latest updates on their journey.

We saved the best for last!  To say a big “Zankyou” to all their followers and supporters, Lisa & Alex — thanks to the Zankyou registry service, will fly out one lucky person and a guest to the couple’s final destination wedding (which is still top secret). All you have to do is make a contribution to UNICEF/2people1life fund for as little $5 USD and suggest a final destination wedding for the couple and why you deserve to win. You will then be entered in the drawing for an invitation to their final destination wedding ceremony as a special wedding guest plus one (see complete rules and details for drawing). The location has not been disclosed so this can happen anywhere in the world!

What are you guys waiting for? Go to the UNICEF/2people1life registry and help donate to UNICEF and also get a chance to win an all expense paid trip to a secret destination wedding that can happen anywhere in the world!

What an amazing couple. Is UNICEF the only charity that you can donate to through Zankyou wedding registry? I’d like to do something similar for my wedding.
