On February 11, Vera Wang debuted her affordable White collection for bridal retail giant David’s Bridal. Here is a selection of our favorite wedding gowns.

Style VW351004, $700; sash (available in a variety of colors), $78. Strapless net gown with tuck-and-mitered bodice and delicately gathered skirt.

“Every bride deserves to have great design,” Vera Wang explains on the White by VeraWang website. “I am proud to bring my designs to more women everywhere.”

Style VW351007, $1000, sash (available in a variety of colors), $78; headband with crystal embellishments, $88. Strapless taffeta gown with asymmetrically draped bodice, scooped neckline, and ball gown tulle skirt.

The arrival of this collection is exciting news for brides who want runway style without having to pay a designer price.

Style VW351021, $800; sash, $58. V-neck soft A-line gown with hand-appliqué lace on net.

There are a dozen dresses in the collection, as well as accessories such as colorful sashes and headpieces. One-shoulder wedding dresses, strapless ballgowns, and even pink wedding dresses make an appearance.

Style VW351010, $1,200; crystal sash, $148. One shoulder structured fit-and-flare gown with dropped waist and skirt made of hand-cut organza flowers.

    I’m torn about this. On one hand it takes away a bit of the luxury & glamorousness of getting a true Vera Wang wedding dress, but on the other hand it makes it a possibility for people who couldn’t otherwise afford it.
