What to Wear to a Fall Wedding
So you have been invited to a Fall wedding. We take a look at what major trends for fall have emerged this season to help you decide what works best so you can look as amazing as always!
Amongst all the mini and micro trends strutting the catwalks this season, there were a few major trends that emerged as true winners and which look we will see with the mainstream retailers.
Be nostalgic with a 1940s or 1960s inspired look. Go for retro elegance with a 1940s inspired tea dress, be it polka dot, printed or pleated mini length skirt. Pair with two-tone Mary Jane shoes and finish the look with pretty pearl details. Gloves optional!

Go quirky with 1960s inspired prints and cuts. Be brave and bare those legs one last time this year in a typical short tunic dress or pair with white ribbed tights. Keep it colorful and lively with bold accessories.
Block coloring remains prominent but with more luxurious deeper colours. Rich jewel tones of ruby reds and emerald greens make for stylish sophistication. Go for a feminine chic cut dress and style it with statement jewelry. Go against all odds and be brave with matching bag (like the stunning ones from Dune, below) and shoes a shade lighter or darker.

Of course, since it is fall, there were plenty of black, somewhat on the gothic side. Soften this look with lace detailing much like the Aire Barcelona Spring 2012 collection, embroidery or beadwork and use accessories to brighten things up.

Hats are optional this season. Catwalk hair trends were very much about the tied back look from knotted buns and half buns to 60s-inspired topknots, beehives and sweeping side partings.
Whatever way you decide to work the Fall trends, each look is about having fun and adding your piece of individuality so enjoy and most of all enjoy the Wedding!
