Many of these trends have gotten their start European bridal collections.

  • Off-the-shoulder dresses – Feminine, dropped boat neck looks, highlighting upper shoulders and clavicle are revealing without being raunchy. They can go from symbolic sleeves on what was a strapless dress to being part of the bodice design.
  • Sheer fabrics – while lace was very 2009, 2010 is tulle and netting. Over just your skirt or covering your whole dress, sheer fabrics add texture and make for a romantic, princess-like look, as predicted by Vera Wang on the Martha Stewart wedding special.
  • Statement jewelry- it’s been around for a while in fashion magazines, but

  • Hair accessories – yes, we had told you – headbands and fascinators (including the stunning birdcage look sported by British WAG bride Carly Zucker) are all big.

So there you have it. We’ll keep updating you on more hot trends all summer long!
