A Touch of Black in Vera Wang Fall 2010 Bridal Collection

Black was the big color for Vera Wang’s Spring 2010 bridal collection at New York Fashion Week recently. It’s no surprise then, that her Vera Wang Fall 2010 bridal collection has turned up with a similar tone. Let’s check out one of the leading wedding dress collections of 2010.
“What do you mean black?!”, I hear you scream. Yes, ladies, Vera Wang has gone black. But only a little bit (phew!). No, we’re not talking a big jump from the princess style dresses of her last collection. In fact, the flowing styles, dreamy layers of tulle and organza and textured skirts are still there. What she has done, however, is decorate most of her dresses with belts and her signature floral appliques in black, or added long black gloves to create a more glamorous, film star bridal look. There are also a couple of pieces in other colors, including a beautiful peach/beige shade and a big black gown fit for any glamorous gala.
One-shoulder dresses are also big as are asymmetrical necklines. And the unstructured halter neck look using a black tie around neck and then waist, again, add a punchy detail to her beautiful couture dresses, making for an effortless, classic look.
