Feminine and Lush Vera Wang Bridal Spring 2011

Vera Wang can always be relied upon to deliver feminine wedding dresses with just the right balance of edginess and classic style. The Spring 2011 Collection strays into new color territory, but maintains its legacy of elegant shapes and frothy, lush fabrics for romantic bridal looks.

This season’s collection also has some touches of color, but it comes in the forms of champagne beige and a gray shade that walks the line between gunmetal and dusty lavendar. We love that Vera Wang is not afraid to break the age-old white color taboo. However, the designer is equally adept at classic whites and ivories. Her use of barely-structured chiffon ripples and swaths of dreamy-looking tulle are perfectly suited to both full-skirted styles and body-skimming silhouettes.
Vera Wang’s Fall 2010 collection featured black accents, with the color showing up in gloves, sashes and belts. Her past collections can also be viewed on the Vera Wang website.
