Rosie O’Donnell Engaged to Michelle Rounds…Planning a Christmas Wedding

Rosie O'Donnell and Michelle Rounds are engaged!

Rosie O’Donnell is doing it again. Saying “I Do,” that is. She announced on “The Rosie Show” Monday that she will marry her girlfriend Michelle Rounds. We hear it will happen over Christmas!

The holidays are a popular time of year for engagements, but the couple reportedly got engaged a few weeks ago. Us Weekly reports that O’Donnell and Rounds are planning a Christmas wedding. A show source told Us that Rounds “is very attractive and friendly. Rosie was really proud and showing her off…They seem really happy.”

Rosie posted this photo of Michelle’s engagement ring on Twitter Monday night with the caption, “so so so happy.”

Rosie met Michelle earlier this year at a Starbucks and made their public debut as couple back in September at the red carpet for the Building Dreams for Kids Gala in New York City. During an appearance on ABC’s “Nightline,” she joked that her “gaydar was way off” when she met Michelle because she thought the IT company headhunter was heterosexual and just 28 years old.

Rosie O’Donnell previously married Kelli Carpenter in 2004 in San Francisco, just weeks after the city’s mayor granted marriage rights to same-sex couples, but they split three years later. They have four children together.
