Engagement and wedding ring specialists Ritani have launched a very special Facebook contest for grooms who need that extra little push towards the aisle. The jewelry design firm will give away a diamond engagement ring valued at $15,000!

To enter, go to the Ritani Facebook Fan Page and tell them about the guy that you’re nominating, why he hasn’t proposed and why he deserves to win the diamond engagement ring.

Don’t worry, these aren’t all guys who may be dragged kicking and screaming towards the altar – several nominees would like to propose, but can’t afford the ring they want in these trying economic times, or would like to surprise the ladies in their lives with a truly spectacular diamond in 2011. Others are being nominated not by their girlfriends, but by sisters, mothers and friends eager to make some wedding magic happen!

You can nominate your man, or nominate a friend that you think needs some encouragement. And, there’s something in it for you, too! Ritani is also giving away a diamond pendant to the person who nominated the winning contestant.

The contest is open until January 6, 2011.  Fans of the Ritani Facebook page will vote for the potential groom they think is most deserving of the ring, and the folks at Ritani will choose one Grand Prize Winner from the 10 nominees who receive the most votes.
