Flowers are an important part of any wedding decoration. But they’re not only found on reception tables and in your hands. As you know, floral appliques have been a wedding trend for while, so it’s time to look at one of our favorite designers – Pronovias – and how floral appliques are dominating the Pronovias 2010 wedding dress collection. Enjoy, my little flowers!
Ultra-feminine, pretty and even sexy – flowers are now officially cool. While there are more Pronovias wedding dresses with bows than flowers, they’re still an integral part of the collection.
Macao is a beautiful off-shoulder dress that has a vintage-style flower belt under the bust. Mistico and Galaxia, meanwhile, are the height of femininity with floral appliques around the bust and on the hip of the dress.
Meanwhile, flowers don’t necessarily mean too cutesy. With Galante, the flower at the bottom of the plunged neckline create a sexy bride, especially when matched up with the mermaid-style dress and Spanish-style ruffled skirt. Maresme, on the other hand, also has a flower right in the middle of the bust, but the look is perhaps a little less sensual and more pleasantly pretty.
Finally Genoveva is for you romantic brides out there, with the floral applique on the side of the hip, matching perfectly with the flowing relaxed ruffles of the skirt.
