Since adding his signature architectural details and sensuous fabric choices to the fashion houses of Lacroix, Ungaro, Laroche and  Dior, Peter Langner has spent the past 20 years cultivating his own high fashion label in Rome. Today we’re taking a look at his collection of spectacular wedding gowns, which are available in more than seventy stores all over the world.

Mr. Langner has been lauded by the international fashion world. He has been awarded both the ‘Bridal Couture Award’ for International Couture designers in New York and received the ‘International Giuseppe Sciacca’ prize for his renowned designs.

The wedding gowns in this year’s collection are ‘modern classics’ with unique textural details and Peter Langner’s signature structures.

Perla: Strapless gown in silk magnolia and draped silk satin on bodice

Sicilia: Empire silk magnolia gown with silk satin and origami motifs

Both the Perla and Sicilia models feature delicate fabric folds, which are more structured than a traditional ruffle but still add feminine interest.

Venezuela: Mermeid gown in silk mikado with important train in silk taffeta and detachable train

Vanessa Due: Gown in silk organza with silk satin sash on waist and hand beading

Rita: Sheath silk mikado gown with bow details on the neckline and on the back

Feminine folds make an appearance in the Rita model, creating a discretely lovely train detail

Zenith: Gown in silk organza with long sleeves and important butterfly train

DRAMA ALERT: Check out the lush, soft, organza ruffles trailing down the full back of the Zenith gown. And, one of this year’s trends, sleeves, make an appearance as well.
