Pepe Botella 2011 Bridal Collection

The latest collection from Spanish design firm Pepe Botella is called White Moon, and it certainly shone like moonlight at Barcelona Bridal Week this year.  Mr. Botella’s daughter, Lucía, is now at the helm of the company, and this new collection maintains the characteristics that have made the label internationally popular for the past 30 years: feminine beauty, natural shapes, and always pure, flawless white.While the 2010 Pepe Botella collection featured light fabrics and subtle frills, the 2011 collection is more glamorous and feminine, with striking haute couture details.

The inspiration for the White Moon collection is the age-old story of princess-meets-prince charming by the light of the moon, but this collection offers more than just poufy princess-style wedding dresses.

The collection has natural shapes that aren’t too constricting, and the pleated silks, tulle and organza used on the most elaborate dresses in the collection is never too fussy.
