Bridal departments have already opened in Nordstrom’s Chicago and San Antonio locations. The following Nordstrom stores will be getting a “Wedding Suite” in the coming weeks:

  • – Seattle, WA
  • - Scottsdale, AZ
  • - Canoga Park, CA and San Jose, CA
  • - Coral Gables, FL
  • - Paramus, NJ
  • - Garden City, NY
  • - Dallas, TX and Houston, TX
  • - McLean, VA
  • - Oak Brook, IL

“The expansion comes as a new generation of cost-conscious brides, influenced by the Great Recession, looks for ways to keep wedding budgets from escalating out of control,” reports The Seattle Times.

“Nordstrom plans to carry wedding-gown collections from Milly, Notte by Marchesa, Sue Wong, David Meister, Nicole Miller and Tadashi. The boutique also carries reception dresses, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, headpieces, jewelry and foundations. Bridal and bridesmaid dresses range from $138 to $2,000.”
