Mon Plus Beau Jour, A Wedding Planner with a Touch for Detail and Perfection
J’adore la France, home to some of the most romantic cities in the world. No wonder that more and more US couples set their destination wedding in a faraway Gaul castle in the Loire Valley or exchange their vows in a field of wildflowers in Provence or on a Corsican beach. How do you as a person physically and culturally separate from this storybook haven, plan a wedding across the Atlantic? Mon Plus Beau Jour (MPBJ) is a prestigious wedding planning company based in France. Now with a NY liaison, they offer elegant and personally tailored solutions to American, French-American and European couples wanting to marry in France. MPBJ provides the authentic French touch with the added convenience of staff who can manage the relationship in English for non-francophone couples.
Unlike other wedding planners, MBPJ work in both areas of the wedding conceptualization and execution. As dual wedding planners and stylists, they are with you from the beginning to customize to your vision, in the middle to plan all the intricate details and at the end in setting up the decor to perfection.

MPBJ specializes both in very large elegant weddings and small private affairs. As you can imagine, not too many vendors cater to the latter. For you couples looking to elope or hold an intimate event, MPBJ specializes in smaller arrangements. They will find the church, minister, venue and or hotel that caters to 2-30 guests in a private dining room. They can also help you find the hair and makeup artists for such an occasion.
MBBJ’s New York liaison guides you through the first step of the planning always keeping the French wedding planner in the loop. She/he will work with specific tools of color palettes and mood boards to understand what the couple like while incorporating details of culture and themes that are relevant. MPBJ also emphasizes high attention to detail resulting in exquisite photographs. When the couple arrive to France, the French wedding planner steps in to welcome the couple and provide continuity to the coordination.
If you are interested in working with MPBJ for your special celebration, some things to keep in mind. Although MPBJ recommends 1-1.5 years to organize the wedding, they have worked with couples to get their wedding done in 2 months. If your event is a smaller wedding in the low season (October to April), then the minimum time may be shorter. Best time of the year for weddings are from May to October, although couples are increasingly getting married in white winter weddings. You work with MPBJ to estimate a quote based on guests and budget (quotes range around $500/guest) so they can work on finding the best vendors for your personalized wedding.
Founder Marie-Emilie Méjan got her start with Dorothée Gruman and brings almost ten years experience to prestigious weddings. With her expert team of wedding planning professionals, MPBJ will help you create a truly memorable wedding with the detail and perfection you deserve. Details make perfection, but perfection is not a detail.

What a great concept and truly a wonderful idea. Your article said that they will work with a little wedding party. Will they also work with smaller budgets?
MarthaRomeroHi Martha! You should definitely contact marie-emilie@monplusbeaujour.com to learn more about a smaller budget. The budget is a function of what you are looking for concept-wise and per person. Although MPBJ is a wedding planner for luxury weddings, if you are considering a small and simple wedding, the important thing is to communicate a concept that works for both of you, which may be doable for your overall budget.
Dear Martha,
first of all, congratulations for your wedding!
I would love to know more about your wedding plan and see how MPBJ can help you.
Please feel free to contact me!Marie-Emilie
