What Wedding Shoe Style is Best for You?
Every girl knows the perfect pair of shoes makes the outfit! Yet it can be difficult to find the perfect wedding shoes. Here are some things to consider when deciding what footwear to walk down the aisle in.
Consider Material. Some shoe material can be shiny and reflective, and certain materials, like plastic, are less flexible and can leave your feet feeling hot. Material like leather is stretchable and breathable.
Keep it comfortable. You may be willing to sacrifice a little in the comfort department for the sake of fashion. An option to consider if you want those spectacular yet painful shoes is to choose a second pair of comfortable wedding shoes – perhaps flats or sandals – to change into for the reception.
Select a good fit. Take into account your feet can swell and may even grow over a period of time. Also, consider that both feet are not exactly the same size. Plan to go wedding shoe shopping in the afternoon or evening when your feet are at their largest. Walk, bend and do a little dance – make sure they are a good fit.
Pick versatile shoes. Make sure your footwear is adaptable for whatever your big day may bring – indoors or outdoors. If you are outdoors, make sure your shoes have good traction on slick surfaces. If you pick heels, take into account the size and shape of your heel. Support also plays a big part in picking the perfect wedding shoes!
