Editor’s Friday Favorite 9.3.10
This morning the temperature finally dipped below 80º in Chicago, and my landlord inexplicably turned the radiators on. Maybe he’s just as eager for fall to arrive as I am?
Fall is my favorite season, and orange is my favorite color. So this week’s Editor’s Friday Favorite is dedicated to the sunset-hued, autumn-inspired mood boards that have been popping up lately over at The Perfect Palette.
For anyone stumped over what colors or theme to choose for their wedding, I cannot recommend The Perfect Palette highly enough. The bloggers at this aesthetically soothing site know color, and they come up with inventive and inspiring combinations to create a gorgeous overall look.
I can’t get enough of the burnt orange, gold, taupe and chocolate tones of these inspiration boards. It makes me want to curl up with a mug of hot cider and watch the leaves fall from the trees, even though only a week ago I was sweating at the beach! For any couple planning an autumn wedding, these photos should kick start your creativity.
What will your wedding colors be? If you’re getting married in the fall, will you do traditional autumn leaf tones, or choose something completely different, like hot pink and navy blue?
If you’re not sure where to start when it comes to your wedding colors, have a look through the inspiration boards over at The Perfect Palette. It’s a good way to spend an (almost autumn) Friday afternoon.
Have a great weekend!
