I love a dramatic, large-scale wedding photo, and I found myself letting out a breathless “wow” as I scrolled through the portfolio of Chicago-based photographer Kenny Nakai. I mean really – it takes a true artist to make power lines look romantic, no?
Of course Nakai Photography does intimate close-ups just as skillfully, but as our Editor’s Friday Favorite, I had to spotlight these unique, sweeping shots. (Click each photo to view larger.)
I especially love the perspective of the shot above. When you spend so much time focusing on the little details of your wedding, it’s great to have a photographer that can see the ‘big picture’ – literally! – as well as the tight vignettes.
