Cool, Quick and Easy Prizes for Zankyou’s Facebook 10K Winner

Hello Zankyou readers! Mindy from Budget Fairy Tale here, and I’m so excited to be guest posting on Zankyou today as the winner of the Zankyou Facebook 10k Bridal Contest! Part of our grand prize included two iPod Nanos and two pairs of Nike+ running shoes for myself and my fiancé, Tim. Soon after we were announced the winners of the contest, we received vouchers to pick up our prizes and I documented the whole thing!

First we went to the Nike store here in Los Angeles to pick out our shoes.

The Nike staff was very helpful in answering our questions. We are both casual runners and neither of us have purchased actual running shoes prior to now! We both tried on a few different pairs of shoes. The staff was great about letting us walk and jump around to get a good feel for the shoes. Soon we settled on our favorites – Tim picked the Pegasus 27 style and I got the Structure 15 style.

We took our shoes to the register, the sales person got us our Nike+ sensors, we handed over our voucher, and we were on our way! It was all very easy!

Next we headed over to the Apple store to pick up our Nanos!

I am used to my iPhone so I was shocked at the size of the Nano. They are so tiny!

Tim picked out a green Nano and I chose pink. A salesperson retrieved them from the back, swiped our gift card, and soon we were walking out the door with our new iPod Nanos! Just like at the Nike store, it was a quick and seamless transaction.
