British Bridal Designers Reveal Their Latest Wedding Dresses at London’s White Gallery

The White Gallery fashion show is London’s largest wedding event and it’s an important time in the calendar for anyone interested in wedding fashion and trends. I for one can’t wait to see the new collections from talented British designers.

Last year the shows were varied and exciting, and I’m confident that this year the shows will be even better! Here are a few of the designers we’re getting truly excited to see their new collections.

Stephanie Allin, a designer from the Mumbles in South Wales prides herself on perfect fit, beautiful fabrics and classic design. Her 2012 collection was full of vintage design with modern and quirky touches such as wide buckled belts and asymmetric skirt details. We’re excited to see what delights she has in store for us this year!

Not only has Stewart Parvin been given the royal nod of approval (Zara Phillips chose a beautiful dress of his design for her wedding to Mike Tindall), his designs have captured the essence of every girl’s dream dress. His designs are classic and elegant with beautiful detailing and ooze femininity.

Ian Stuart’s show is sure to be a spectacle! His 2012 collection was a theatrical experience filled to the brim with romantic gowns with impressive detailing. We’re hoping for more of the same this year – show stopping and truly glamorous dresses.

Last year, the ethos behind the Madeline Isaac James collection was to give women plenty of choice and personality. Although the collection is varied, femininity and flattering, figure hugging shapes connect each dress – a collection for real women! We’re very excited to see what else they have to offer!

True glamour is everlasting, and the 2012 collection by Johanna Hehir will never loose its relevance. It would be a quite a task to top this collection filled with flowing gowns, delicate lace, careful draping and the softest silk, but we’re confident that the 2013 collection will be just as fabulous.

Back when the 2012 Mia Mia collection surfaced last year, we at Zankyou though it was the cutest collection ever. It still retains that title. Personally I adore the sheer sleeves, the careful manipulating of fabric to create floral decorations and there’s an all over ruffled dress that I can’t keep my eyes off! I wonder if the 2013 Mia Mia bride will be just as cute, or will it show her darker side?

Last but not least The Vintage Wedding Dress Company. The ‘Decades Collection’ succeeded in collecting the best elements of dresses throughout the last century and created vintage inspired dresses with a slightly modern edge. I can’t wait to see more from the Vintage Wedding Dress Company – more lace, more embroidery, more…everything!
