Since its inception into the wedding industry, BHLDN has become a sacred place graced with exquisite wedding dresses and the hottest bridal accessories to fawn over. BHLDN collaborations have been turning heads in the wedding industry for a few months now, and the illustrious Peter Som is the latest designer to be added to this ever-growing list.
It’s a feat of Hercules to pay a visit to BHLDN’s website and not drool and delight in nearly everything they offer. The dresses put the word “stunning” to shame, the veils and headpieces are things out of a Bronte novel or a Downton Abbey episode, and the shoes will make Marie Antoinette swoon. Naturally, a frenzy erupted when BHLDN, the brainchild of Anthropologie, announced their plan to mingle their house genius with that of fashion designers who take their rightful spots during New York Fashion Week and whose creations grace the covers of fashion magazines across the globe.
Their first round dresses were a hit, with designs from Milly, Badgley Mischka, and Catherine Malandrino. It’s now American designer Peter Som’s turn to develop his “effortless elegance and refined sexiness” aesthetic into wedding dresses. He drew his inspiration from his previous ready-to-wear lines, infusing romance and femininity along the way. Som’s creations will feature sheer embellishments, ruffles, and everything that boho and vintage brides love. Luckily for all of us, Peter Som’s entire BHLDN collection will be officially revealed on BHLDN’s website on March 15th. Start your countdown, ladies!
