The British designer was hand picked to replace the great Alexander McQueen after he passed away from an apparent suicide back in 2009. She designed the wedding gown that Katherine Middleton wore when she wed Prince William back In April for the wedding of this century. After the royal wedding, Burton and the label were suddenly on everyone’s radar.

Kate Middleton’s dress by Burton was a complete hit with fashionistas and the crowd watching worldwide.
