Balloons – wedding decoration

Flowers are the supreme decorative element at most weddings, but what about something special and different? Take a look at how we at Zk Magazine thinks you can use balloons as a means of decorating all elements of your big day.
Whether you want to go for something elegant, or a more fun, relaxed look, balloons are a great resource for your wedding day.

First you need to decide whether you prefer them filled with air or with helium. Helium balloons will last for around 10 to 12 hours after having been filled, so you need to take that into account.
With helium-filled balloons you can get a myriad of different shapes and designs, but they do tend to be shiny, so you have to take that look into account in terms of your decoration and colors.
In terms of color, the world is your oyster. White or ivory glossy globes can be a great staple for your decoration, blended with other shades that fit in with your color scheme and the reception venue.
One way of incorporating balloons into your day is to make a balloon archway when you head into the function room for your food. Or what about balloon bouquets for your tables? Ask your florist for guidance on this issue or get in touch with specialists like Ballroom Balloons or Balloons n’ More. They might even be able to suggest innovative ways of incorporating balloons into your decoration.

And if you’re one of those couples who’ve been told by their venue managers the dreaded ‘NO RICE/CONFETTI’ rule, why not release some balloons to celebrate your wedding? It’s a great way of reinforcing your wedding colors and also surprising your guests!
