We love Autumn wedding inspiration with earthy elegant style and chic rustic romance. Here are some of our favorite gorgeous autumn wedding colors and themes – from decor to flowers to fashion – that we hope will inspire you, too.

Autumn wedding reception decor and centerpieces look so pretty with natural elements like moss, twigs and fruit. Apples, of course, are an Autumn favorite and we love to see event designers and florists get creative with apples in surprisingly chic ways.

Apples as place card holders, like the idea above from My Own Labels, are perfect as a natural element for “green” weddings. Add colorful apples and oranges to centerpieces by first pressing them carefully onto dowels or wooden skewers.

The beautiful autumn centerpieces above from Floral Arrangement Adviser blend brick-colored pincushion blooms with orange slices and peach roses. We think these arrangements really compliment Pantone’s 2012 color of the year, Tangerine Tango.

Cinnamon, mocha, apple spice - autumn wedding cakes and cupcakes are great excuses to savor some bolder flavorings and show-off this season’s radiant colors. Add fresh flowers in autumn tones or thick marzipan leaves to a white tier wedding cake. Use cupcakes as place card holders with autumn-theme designs.

We can’t stop admiring the divinely-rustic “unfinished” apple spice wedding cake above from Carried Away Cuisine, with cream cheese frosting between the tiers and a delicate dusting of confectioner’s sugar. This cake would be delicious served with fabulous wedding cocktails in fall-inspired flavors!

Where summer wedding bouquets are often bright and playful, the autumn wedding bouquet seems to naturally express warmth and sophistication. Don’t be afraid to mix mint, lavender and other lighter hues with earth-tone floral palettes of rust, pumpkin and goldenrod. This autumn bridal bouquet from Rebecca’s Silver Rose highlights cream roses with pretty blooms of cranberry, orange and golden brown.

Play with your favorite colors, light or dark, for beautiful autumn wedding fashion for the wedding couple and wedding party. Some of our favorite autumn bridesmaids dresses are in creams and greys, so don’t be afraid to use lighter colors and fabrics early in the season. Pair deep purple dresses and groomsmen ties with autumn-inspired bouquets and boutonnieres in shades of nectarine and burnt umber. Consider fabric blending in these transitional months from warm to chilly, like light silky gowns paired with pretty suede boots or heels.
