The Rosa Clara spring 2012 bridal collection really took our breath away. The designer’s vision was purely based on both the volume and minimalism of the wedding dresses. The designer was one of many that was inspired by the Alexander McQueen creation that Katherine Middleton wore to the royal wedding back in April of this year.
Rosa Clara is well known for being able to combine art, style and innovation in her bridal collection. Her collection for the spring showed striking gowns with simple bodices and swishy skirts with asymmetrical necklines and bare backs.
The wedding dresses in creams and beiges were subtle colors but the unique contrasts and textures of the fabrics created astonishing wedding dresses that every bride would want to wear.
The difficult part of looking at the collection was picking out our favorites. Dress after dress, each creation seemed to top the other and it was a magical experience to be in a room full of beautiful things. Dresses made from rare laces and organzas that were carefully draped and cut flattered all types figures which is not easily achieved. The designer Isaac Mizrahi also showed universally flattering dresses for his bridal collection for The Aisle.
Rosa Clara knows how to do romantic dresses. If you are looking for jaw dropping creations with classic lines and a timeless style, then the Rosa Clara spring 2012 bridal collection is just for you.
