A Bride’s Adventures in Wedding Dress Shopping

Wedding dress shopping is fun!

Finding the perfect wedding dress is one of the best parts of planning your wedding!

Facebook 10K bridal contest winner. Today I’m here to share my adventures in wedding dress shopping and trying to find the perfect gown for our fairy tale wedding.

The whole experience began when I grabbed two of my friends and headed to David’s Bridal. It’s a must that you bring friends or family with you, as my friends offered their opinions as I tried on several different styles of wedding dresses. I was looking for something modern and unique, and most of all, comfortable!

First I tried on this tea length number. It was so cute and I loved the flowers, but it was
a little too simple for my fairy tale wedding.

Next I tried on another tea length dress. This one had pockets, which I loved! However, the length was a little bit too long for a tea length dress.

I also tried on a sleeker silhouette. I liked the delicate sleeves and subtle lace applique on this one. Still, I wasn’t ready to settle on a dress and wanted to try more styles.

This one was really poofy! I liked the pink bodice but with it’s multi-layer tulle skirt this one was a bit over-the-top for me.

Finally, I really loved the textured floral skirt on this one and my friends thought it looked really pretty. I think this was the favorite of the day.

I had a lot of fun trying on wedding dresses. I decided on a dress but I’m not revealing it until the big day! Which one was your favorite?
