If you’re getting married this fall, (we hope) most of the planning is already complete. Now it’s time to work on the details and add finishing touches, like a signature wedding cocktail. Zankyou would like to share some fantastic fall recipes that will spice up your amorous autumn celebration.

As colder weather creeps in, look to the crisp and comforting flavors of the season to inspire your fall wedding. Embrace the fruits and flavors of the season–apples, pears, figs, grapes, cranberries, spices and of course, pumpkins–as inspiration for your wedding libations.

Butterscotch Cinnamon Apple Pie Martini
  • Butterscotch Cinnamon Apple Pie Martini

This delectable martini is almost as sweet as your love and tastes just like a slice of delicious apple pie.

1 oz cinnamon schnapps
2 oz chilled apple juice
1 oz butterscotch schnapps

Ground cinnamon or cinnamon stick for garnish

Pour cinnamon schnapps into a martini glass. Pour apple juice over schnapps then pour butterscotch schnapps over apple juice.  Sprinkle with cinnamon or add a cinnamon stick for garnish.

 

Hot Apple Pie

Made with seasonal hot apple cider, this cocktail will really warm up your wedding. Tuaca is a natural liqueur with authentic Italian roots and wonderful citrus and vanilla hints.

2 oz Tuaca
4 oz hot apple cider
Whipped cream
Cinnamon stick for garnish

Pour the Tuaca in an Irish coffee glass. Fill with hot apple cider. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

 

La Poire Sparlking Goldenrod
  •  La Poire Sparkling Goldenrod

This cocktail is just as elegant as it sounds. Grey Goose La Poire (that’s French for ‘pear’) vodka has a subtle fruity flavor that when combined with champagne, is quite a fragrant and bubbly creation.

1 oz Grey Goose La Poire flavored vodka
1/2 oz elderflower cordial
1/4 oz lemon juice
4 oz sparkling champagne
Orange peel for garnish

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add Grey Goose La Poire, elderflower cordial and lemon juice. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into a champagne flute and top with champagne. Garnish with orange peel.

 

Pumpkin Divine Martini
  • Pumpkin Divine Martini

A little bit of pear is mixed with lush pumpkin butter and the seasonings of cinnamon, clove nutmeg and apple finish off the fall flavors in a fantastic splash.

2 0z Grey Goose La Poire vodka
1 oz pumpkin butter
1/2 oz part triple sec
1/2 oz simple syrup
Pinch each of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and ginger
Grated nutmeg and an apple chip for garnish

Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with nutmeg and an apple chip.

 

Bear Hug
  • Bear Hug

Take a simple whiskey on the rocks and make it sweet enough for your honey. Made with Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur, it is the perfect combination of sweet and strong.

1 oz Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur
1 oz whiskey
1 oz lemon juice

Serve on the rocks. Garnish with a lemon.

    These sound absolutely delicious. I am definitely going to try the Grey Goose La Poire, I love the idea of a crisp fruity cocktail to serve on a sunny autumn day. What kind of appetizers and finger food work for this cocktail?
