Remember when we told you about Zankyou couple Lisa Gant and Alex Pelling and their weddings all over the world? Well, they just had their 26th wedding in NYC with one of the best officiants anyone could imagine – Martha Stewart!
While the couple has already had 25 unofficial ceremonies in locations around the world, this was their first and only New York City wedding. Martha Stewart Weddings coordinated the event in conjunction with their annual New York Bridal Fashion Week Party and there were two central themes – the color white and the City of New York!
Alex and Lisa’s ceremony was held in the MSLO Clerestory in the historic Starrett-Lehigh building and officiated by everyone’s favorite home and living icon, Martha Stewart, and Martha Stewart Weddings Editorial Director Darcy Miller.
Lisa wore a gown designed by Monique Lhuillier. Famed cake designer Sylvia Weinstock made the wedding cake, music was provided by Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist Steve Tyrell from the “Father of the Bride” films, and celebrity wedding photographer Donna Newman was there to capture every unforgettable moment.
Though this is sure to be one of Alex and Lisa’s most memorable ceremonies, the best is still to come as they will be having their final, official ceremony in a yet undisclosed location and you could be one of their guests! Alex and Lisa are using their Zankyou registry to raise money for UNICEF children’s charity. Anyone who donates through thirtyweddings.com will automatically be entered to win a trip to their final wedding destination which could be anywhere in the world!
