Bilingual spanish and english ceremonies

Hello, my fiance is from Colombia, and we want to have a bilingual ceremony. We're looking at going back and forth in English and Spanish with 2 priests. How do we do this without it being too long and boring?? Having 2 ceremonies is not an option..

My sister married a man from Ecuador, and they had a Spanish Catholic priest and a Presbyterian minister alternate saying each part of the vows. They didn't do long readings or anything, and it kept things short and sweet. I think it was better that they went back and forth in English and Spanish, because that way half the guests didn't 'zone out' while the vows were being said in the opposite language. My sister & brother-in-law did a private rehearsal of exactly what they'd say with the two officiants before the actual rehearsal dinner, so that helped too. Good luck!

I am Spanish and my now husband English so we had a ceremony in both languages. We had a civil ceremony and the registrar spoke both English and Spanish so he did every bit in both languages. Readings were also in both languages and our vows were said my in English and my husband's in Spanish. If you feel confident in saying your vows in your partner's language is a very nice touch.
Also we gave Order of Service in Spanish and English so everyone could follow what was going on.
